Just like Hawaii has a state governor and mayors for each town, the developer, Ewa by Gentry, is the overarching association for all Gentry homes. You are automatically enrolled when you buy into the Hu`elani development.
Ewa by Gentry is a Master Planned Community. The Community Association serves all homeowners and residents within the community. The Board appointed staff provides services and support for all of the Association's business, including common area maintenance, Design Committee support, Covenants enforcement, social events, communications and volunteer committee development.
The community center at Ewa by Gentry has a pool, assorted classes and cabanas for rent. You have to be a member to use the facilities. More information
The Hu`elani Board of Directors is a group of nine homeowners who are unpaid volunteers. They use their time and talents to oversee, maintain and improve this community. They accomplish this by working with Gentry, Hawaiiana, the Site Manager and listening to the residents concerns and suggestions.
Each November, at the annual meeting, elections are held to fill the open spot(s) on the board.. A term of office ranges from 2 to 3 years. Any homeowner, in good standing, may submit their bid to run when the elections are announced . Nominations may also be taken from the floor during the annual meeting.

Hawaiiana provides administrative duties such as maintenance fee payments, invoices, billing, administrative duties and monthly financial reports for the AOAO. Our manger is Craig Richter. He attends all board meetings and organizes the annual meeting, He and his company provide thoughtful advice based on years of experience and training for the Hu`elani board to make sound decisions .

Hu`elani's Site Manager is the heart of our community. Kellie is the point of contact for residents' questions, reservations, changing your registration or starting a new one. Complaints or concerns are also part of her day. Repair, realtors and other professionals go through her office. A report is sent to the Board bimonthly.
